Chain Of Lakes Pontoon Cruise Details - FAQ
- Do I need to make reservations?
Yes, reservations are necessary for all tours as seating on each boat is limited by Coast Guard regulations and we also need a minimum number of
people to send a tour out.
- Do I have to pay in advance?
No, however credit card details are required to reserve or "hold" your seat. This will not be charged at the time and full payment will be made at the boat before boarding. In person, you can pay with cash or credit card, individually or as a group.
- How do I make a reservation?
Easy! Just call our Reservations Line 8633076585
- What methods of payment are accepted?
We accept Cash, Credit Cards via pay pal
- When do we need to be there?
Please be at the Lake Shipp boat ramp (2269 7th St SW, Winter Haven, Fl 33880) 15 minutes before the tour departure time. At this time you can pay the Captain as you board the boat.
- Where can we park?
Parking is usually available for free at the Lake Shipp boat ramp (2269 7th St SW Winter Haven Fl 33880).
- Are we allowed to bring food and drinks on-board?
Yes you can. We do provide bottled water on-board, but you are more than welcome to bring additional food and drinks (alcohol is permitted).
Glass bottles are allowed on the boat, however please bring a plastic glass to drink from.
- How easy is it to get on the boat with a walker or wheelchair?
Our pontoon boats sit directly next to the dock, so there is little gap to step over when boarding. The Captain is always happy to lend a hand to passengers with a walker or to assist with loading a wheelchair onto the boat. Unfortunately, we have no ability to get scooters or power wheelchairs onto the boats.
- What happens if it rains?
We always watch the weather closely and will do our best to get under a bridge until weather improves. It is Florida, after all, so showers should only last 10min lol.
- What happens if it is cold?
We always suggest you dress appropriately for the conditions; it is often a few degrees cooler out on the water. Blankets are sometimes needed for the cooler months.
